Futaba aoi (Asarum caulescens) is the plant that became the motif for the family crest of the Tokugawa Clan. These sweets are inspired by the “Futaba Aoi Path” on the grounds of Sumpu Castle. They are butter cookie sandwiches with homemade caramel sauce and fragrant nuts.
